Business Information Group (BIG) Expands in Several Departments

BIG continues growth in Networking, Software Consulting and Wireless departments

York, PA – Business Information Group kicked off the new year by hiring eight new employees, further developing their vast skill sets in networking, project management, software development, and wireless services.

Chris Stouffer has joined BIG as a Project Manager. He will be focusing on managing projects across all lines of business for the company. Chris’s years of project management experience will play a critical role in integrating project management across the organization. “We’re excited to have Chris on board this early in our project management initiative,” said Jessica Parzanese, Director of Project Management. “His previous experience brings valuable insight when considering cross-departmental project management practices.”

Kelly Brand has joined BIG as a Project Coordinator. Her main role will be to provide support to the project management team. “The administrative support that Kelly will provide will allow our Project Managers to focus on managing projects.” Director of Project Management, Jessica Parzanese, continues: “The support that Kelly will provide was the missing piece to our team. I’m confident that her support will help to ensure the success of our project management department.”

Libby Hume has joined the Help Desk team as a Service Coordinator.  She will be focusing on handling the triage of incoming support requests from customers, while ensuring prompt service throughout the life cycle of the request. “Libby’s excellent background in customer service and event planning is a great addition to our team,” said Jeff Lykins, Help Desk Supervisor. “She will be a big part of ensuring that our customers receive a high level of customer service as our Managed Services platform continues to grow.”

Bridget Wagner, Joel Hoffman and Brian Davis have joined BIG’s Software Consulting team as Development Consultants. They will be helping with the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting of various programs our customers use every day. Ken Jones, Vice President of Consulting Services, speaks about his new team members:

“Bridget is a talented developer.  We have worked with Bridget in the past on projects and expect many of our clients may already be familiar with her talented skillsets. Bridget’s technical knowledge of databases, T-SQL and Crystal Reporting are spectacular. Her ability to review business systems to help make decisions on customer’s needs will be a great addition.”

“Joel comes to our group with over 20 years in the construction industry. His wide variety of knowledge will allow him to support on the development, engineering and accounting consulting. We are excited to have Joel on board and are confident our clients will appreciate his wealth of experience.”

“Brian’s more than twenty years of construction knowledge is a great addition to BIG.  Brian has knowledge on many of the accounting packages BIG works with. Further, he has a superior understanding of construction material sales and payroll reporting. He is a talented developer who will support in a variety of endeavors. We are happy to have Brian on board.”

Cindy Whitner has joined BIG as a Software Consultant. Her focus will be on expanding our consulting services to include Viewpoint’s Spectrum product. “Cindy brings over twenty years of construction consulting knowledge to the BIG team. Her professionalism, skillset and leadership will be a valuable asset for our group,” Ken Jones, Vice President of Consulting Services said. “We are excited to have her spearheading our endeavors with Viewpoint Spectrum and are confident she will be a successful part of the BIG team.”

Martin Jackman and Tim Wagner have joined our Wireless team as Tower Technicians. Martin and Tim will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of radio frequency equipment. “We are excited and fortunate to have Martin and Tim on board as members of our field installation team,” said Roger Hayes, Vice President of Wireless Operations. “Both Martin and Tim bring a wealth of wireless industry knowledge and will be great assets to our team.”
