As York, PA enters the yellow phase on Friday, May 22nd, Business Information Group is continuing to take necessary precautions to keep our employees, clients, and community safe. We believe it is our duty as a business member of the York community to establish and adhere to the following guidelines, as well as provide transparency as we move forward.

BIG employees will continue to work from home unless requested and approved to visit a client site, or if their position has been designated as one that must report to the office for essential business purposes. Meetings will continue to be conducted virtually. All employees must wear a facemask upon entering each of our BIG facilities and when moving within the buildings. Persons within the office must adhere to social distancing rules and stay at least six feet from other people. When visiting clients, BIG employees are required to continue to adhere to these guidelines by wearing a facemask, maintaining a social distance of six feet, and washing their hands with soap and water at least one time every hour.

Additionally, we are asking all employees who feel sick, or who have encountered someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, to self-isolate for a minimum of 10 days. Lastly, we are continuing to encourage employees to social distance when they are away from home.

BIG is taking these precautions to ensure the well-being of our and our clients’ workforces, and to help our local economy move towards safely entering the green phase. We realize businesses may still be adjusting to this new way of working remotely. Because of this, we created a COVID-19 resources page that provides all the resources BIG has to offer regarding adjusting to our new normal.

While we are all navigating our way through these difficult times, BIG is here to connect you to what matters most through our technology expertise. Together, we are BIG and we will see it through.
